할렐루야! 멕시코 단기 선교 둘째날이 밝았습니다.

Hallelujah! The second day of our Mexico short-term mission has begun.

어제는 하루 종일 공사장에서 집 짓고, 아이들은 VBS 로 힘쓰는 일이 많았다 보니 모두들 일찍 잠에 들었습니다.

Yesterday, everyone completely knocked out after spending the whole day building at the construction site while the kids worked hard serving in VBS. 

어른들은 졸린 눈과 뻐근한 어깨를 부여잡고, 일제히 2층 커피 수혈 장소로 직행하였습니다.

The adults dragged their sleepy eyes and sore shoulders straight to the second-floor “coffee infusion station.”

재빠르게 커피를 담고, 오늘의 큐티 본문과 암송구절을 찾아봅니다.

Quickly poured out a cup of coffee and opened today’s devotion passage and memory verse.

자는 게 아니라 기도하는 겁니다.

We're not sleeping—just praying.

열심히 묵상하는 아이들과 어른들.

Kids and adults alike meditated diligently.

어른들은 옥상에서 올라가 탁트인 바다 마을 풍경 보며, 이성호 목사님과 함께 은혜로운 말씀 암송을 마쳤습니다.

The adults went up to the rooftop, taking in the wide-open view of the seaside village, and finished their Scripture memory time with Pastor Lee Sung-ho, the father of our Mexico mission.

말씀 암송을 훌륭히 마치고 맛있는 아침 음식들을 쓸어 담았습니다.

After finishing their memory verses wonderfully, everyone swept up the delicious breakfast.

역시 선교지의 아침은 꿀맛이야~

Mission trip breakfasts always tastes like heaven.

식사를 마치고 바로 아침 예배를 드렸습니다.

After eating, we went straight into morning worship.

우리의 전부 되시는 하나님을 경배합니다.

We worshipped God, who is our everything.

하나님을 믿는 것은 인생에 도움이 되는 보너스로 믿는 것이 아니라, 그분께 나의 삶을 온전히 드리는 것이라는 말씀을 나눠주셨습니다.

Pastor Paul shared that Christianity is not a nice addition to improving our lives, but that we should give our everything to Jesus.

오늘 하루 공사 사역과 VBS 사역에 전심으로 참여할 수 있기를 기도합니다.

“Oh God, as we serve at the construction site and VBS today, help us not to do things half-heartedly but to give our very best with sincerity.”

예배를 마치고, 사역지로 출발 하기 위해 앞마당에 모였습니다.

After worship, we gathered in the front yard to depart.

아이들은 오전 VBS 한팀, 그리고 공사장 한팀으로 나뉘어 출발하였습니다.

The kids split into two teams: one for morning VBS and one for the construction site.

오늘은 저희의 집 공사를 지켜보고 있던 Espinoza Valdez Family 의 아들과 딸 (Dylan과 Nicole) 도 VBS 에 초대하였습니다.

다행히 OK를 하여 차로 15분 거리에 위치한 VBS 장소인 알파와 오메가 교회로 데리고 갔습니다.

하나님께서 마음을 만져주시길!!!

Today, we carefully invited the Espinoza Valdez family’s son and daughter—Dylan and Nicole—to VBS. Thankfully, they said OK, so we drove them to Alpha & Omega Church, about 15 minutes away.

May God touch their hearts!

폴목사님과 통역해주시는 Mariana 자매님은 아이들과 VBS로 출발하였고, 나머지 어른들은 공사장에서 내벽을 붙이는 일과 지붕 세우는 일에 집중 하였습니다.

Pastor Paul and Sister Mariana, who served as our translator, headed out with the children for VBS, while the rest of the adults stayed at the construction site to focus on installing the interior walls and building the roof.

어른들이 대부분의 힘든 작업들을 감당해 주셨습니다만, 용량관계로 여기에는 아이들 사진 위주로 업로드 하겠습니다^^

Most of the heavy work was done by the adults, but due to upload limits I’ll focus on sharing photos of the kids.

큰 아이들은 내벽 내장제를 넣는 일을 시작하였습니다. 마스크는 필수!

The older children began installing the interior insulation with the masks on.
