샬롬! VBS Day 2 의 아침이 밝았습니다!

오늘은 몇해 전 저희가 왔을 때 가르쳐 준 찬양을 먼저 익숙하게 부르는 아이들 영상으로 시작합니다! 

가르쳐준 찬양을 잊지 않고 저희가 없을 때도 계속 부르고 있었다는 것을 알게 되니 너무 감동스러웠습니다.

Shalom! 

Day 2 of VBS has begun! We started our morning with a video of the children beautifully singing a praise song we taught them a few years ago. 

Seeing that they hadn’t forgotten it and kept singing it even while we were away truly touched our hearts.

찬양과 기도로 아침예배를 시작했습니다. 

We then opened our morning worship service with praise and prayer.

오늘도 말라위에서 비전센터를 위해 비디오를 켜고 함께 기도했습니다.

Today, we also turned on our video cameras to join in prayer for the Malawi Vision Center.

오늘의 아침당번은 말라위팀의 막내라인들이 준비했습니다. 

Today's breakfast was prepared by the youngest members of our Malawi team.

제일 긴 나눔을했었던 한결형제님이 아침식사기도를 맡으셨습니다~ 배가 고픈데.. 식사기도도 길었습니다.. 은혜롭고 좋았습니다.

Brother Han-gyul, who previously gave the longest reflection, led the breakfast prayer. We were so hungry, and his prayer was quite long, too... but it was wonderful! 

식사 후, 오늘 하나님께서 내게 맡기신 영혼은 누구라고 생각하는지 그리고 나는 오늘 어떤 모습으로 예수님의 사랑을 전하기 원하는지 소그룹으로 나누는 시간을 갖았습니다.

After our meal, we had a small group discussion, reflecting on the specific souls God placed on our hearts for the day and how we want to share His love with them.

외벽 밑까지 꼼꼼하게 페인트칠을 합니다.

We made sure to paint every single spot, all the way down to the bottom of the wall.

2년 전 우리 새누리 선교팀이 페인트를 한 후, 이곳의 랜드마크가 된 Jesus is Lord 가 써있는 외벽에 금들이 많이 생겼습니다.

이번 선교 팀들이 다시 페인트를 칠하며 그 금들을 메꾸는 작업을 하게되었습니다.

Two years ago, our Saenuri mission team painted the outer wall that says "Jesus is Lord," and it has since become a local landmark. 

However, many cracks had formed over time. This year's mission team took on the task of repainting the wall and filling in all those cracks.

페인트를 칠하는 동안 한쪽에서는 VBS Craft를 준비합니다. 

While one group was busy painting, another team was on the other side preparing the VBS crafts.

VBS 두번째날의 시작도 함께 손잡고 기도로 준비하는 우리 말라위 선교팀

 We began the second day of VBS with our Malawi mission team holding hands and preparing our hearts in prayer.

웰컴팀은 터널을 만들어 아이들을 반갑게 맞이해 줍니다! 손터널이 익숙하지 않은 아이들은 멋쩍어하며 들어옵니다. 

다음번엔 익숙해 져서 환희 웃으며 들어오길 기대합니다. 

Our welcome team formed a hand tunnel to give the children a joyful reception! Since the kids weren't used to a hand tunnel, 

they walked through looking a bit shy and awkward. We can't wait to see them walk through next time with big smiles on their faces.

VBS 시작전에 빵과 음료를 아이들에게 나눠줍니다, 작은것에도 감사해하는 아이들의 순수한 모습에 오히려 저희 선교팀의 마음이 몽글몽글 해집니다. 

Before VBS began, we gave the children some bread and drinks. Our mission team's hearts melted seeing their pure innocence and 

how grateful they were for even the smallest things.

삼삼오오 모여 빵과 주스를 마시는 아이들을 보며 예수님께서 오병이어의 기적을 보이셨을 때, 오천명의 사람들이 이런 모습으로 앉아 먹지 않았을까? 

하는 상상을 하게 됩니다.

Watching the children gather in small groups to enjoy their bread and juice, It reminded us of Jesus feeding the five thousand with 

the five loaves and two fish. It made us imagine that this was exactly how the crowd of five thousand sat together and enjoyed their meal.

문목사님의 시작기도로 VBS Day 2의 문을 열어주십니다. 입소문 덕분에 오늘은 어제보다 아이들이 더 많았습니다. 

Pastor Moon started Day 2 of VBS with an opening prayer. Word had clearly spread around town, 

because  we had even more children join us today than yesterday.

신체어 스킷 팀이 기도로 준비합니다.

The "Sin Chair" skit team prepared for their performance with a time of prayer.

문목사님께서 스킷내용을 설명해 주시며 우리를 하나님으로 부터 멀어지게 만드는 죄에 대한 경각심과 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 오직 예수의 피로인해 

우리가 용서받고 하나님께 돌아갈 수 있었음을 알려주셨습니다.

Following the skit, Pastor Moon broke down the message of the skit to help the children understand the danger of sin that pulls us away from God. 

He powerfully reminded everyone that through God’s love and only by the blood of Jesus, we receive forgiveness and the way back to the Father.

큰 아이들과 작은 아이들을 나누어 다른 게임으로 진행하였습니다.

To make sure everyone had the most fun, we split the kids by age and ran separate, age-appropriate games for the older and younger groups.

Craft도 어린아이들과 큰아이들을 나누어 다른 것을 만들었습니다.

Following the games, we also split the children by age for the craft session to make two different projects. 

The younger and older groups each focused on a creative craft that was just right for their age level.

오늘 하루의 모든 사역을 끝내고 저녁예배를 드렸습니다. 이사야 55:11을 통해 하나님의 말씀은 헛되이 돌아오지 않으며, 

우리가 심은 복음의 씨앗을 하나님께서 자라게 하신다는 메세지를 주셨습니다.

After completing all of today's ministries, we gathered together to offer our evening worship service. 

Through Isaiah 55:11, we were given a message that God's word never returns to Him void, 

and that He will faithfully grow the seeds of the gospel we planted today.

내일 VBS craft 시간 때, 이 곳 예배당에서 아이들과 복음팔찌를 만들며 복음을 전하게 됩니다.  아이들의 마음에 복음이 단단히 심어지기를 소망하며

그 어떠한 사탄의 방해도이 예배당에도 그리고 우리 안에도 있을 수 없도록 내일을 준비하며 대적기도를 하였습니다. 

Tomorrow during the VBS craft session, we will be making gospel bracelets with the children right here in the sanctuary to share the good news with them. 

Hoping that the gospel will be deeply and firmly rooted in their hearts, we spent time in spiritual warfare prayer to prepare for tomorrow, 

declaring that no interference from Satan will be permitted in this sanctuary or within any of our hearts.

바라보기만 해도 입가에 미소가 번지는, VBS 아이들의 행복한 모습을 마지막으로 마칩니다.

Concluding our update with these beautiful, happy smiles from our VBS children that are sure to make you smile.

내일 일정은 오전 페인트 및 벤치 제작 사역, 오후 VBS 마지막 날 섬김으로 이어집니다. 내일은 특히 아이들에게 복음을 전하는 날입니다. 

많은 아이들의 심령 속에 복음의 씨앗이 심겨지고, 뿌리 깊게 자라날 수 있도록 기도로 동역해 주세요.

Tomorrow, we will be painting and making benches in the morning, and serving the children for the last day of VBS in the afternoon. 

As mentioned earlier, tomorrow is a crucial day as we share the Gospel. 

Please join us in prayer that the seeds of the Gospel will be deeply planted in the hearts of many children and take firm root.
