모니~ 물리 브완지~

시작한지 얼마 안된것 같은데 벌써 VBS Day 3이자 마지막 날입니다. 아이들을 다 집으로 보내고 텅 빈 교회 앞마당에서 찍은 단체사진으로 일지를 시작합니다!

Muli bwanji! 

It feels like we just started, but today is already Day 3 and the final day of VBS. 

We have sent all the children home, and I am starting today's journal with a group photo taken in the now empty church front yard.

오늘 아침예배 말씀은 특별히 허선교사님께서 해주셨습니다. 창세기 37:3-4 와 마태복음 25:35 을 통해 모든 내 안에 싹트는 죄들을 위해 대적기도하며 

마음을 정결하게 하기에 힘쓰고 또한 아이들에게 두루두루 사랑을 표현하는 VBS 마지막 날이 되었으면 좋겠다는 말씀을 해주셨습니다.

This morning, Missionary Huh delivered a message for our opening worship. Drawing from Genesis 37:3-4 and Matthew 25:35, 

he challenged us to engage in spiritual warfare against every budding sin within ourselves and to strive for a pure heart. 

He also encouraged us to make this final day of VBS a time where we express and pour out God's love to each and every child.

오늘 말씀을 듣고 어떠한 생각들이 들었는지 나누는 시간이 있었는데, 지난 이틀의 VBS동안 하나님의 눈이 아닌 세상의 눈으로 아이들을 대한것과

영으로 바라보지 못한것들을 회개 한다는 나눔들이 있었습니다. 

Following the message, we had a time to share our thoughts and reflections. Many team members repented, confessing that during the first two days of VBS, 

they had looked at the children through worldly eyes rather than God’s eyes, failing to discern and approach them in the spirit.

새누리에선 10pm, 여기 말라위에서는 7am 비전 기도회가 계속 됩니다~

Even across the distance, our vision prayer meeting continues at 10 PM for Saenuri Church and at 7 AM here in Malawi.

오전에는 계속해서 페인트칠, 예배당에 쓰여질 벤치 만들기, VBS craft준비가 이어집니다. 

이번 말라위 선교에는 평소보다 더 많은 분들이 함께 와서, 그룹을 나눠 각자의 달란트를 사용 할 수 있는 기회가 있어 감사했습니다.

In the morning, our work continued with painting, building benches for the chapel, and preparing the VBS crafts. 

We are so grateful that more team members joined this Malawi mission than usual, giving us the opportunity to divide into groups and use our unique gifts where they were needed most.

오늘도 혜령자매님은 시간을 쪼개 기타연습을 하십니다. 

Even with such a busy schedule, Sister Haeryung managed to find time to practice the guitar again today.

이틀전 우리팀에게 기도를 받고 가신 학부모님의 얘기를 듣고 몇명 자매님들이 오전에 교회에 기도를 받으러 오셨습니다. 

새누리 자매님들께서, 복음을 전달하고 삶을 나누고 기도를 해드렸습니다.

Two days ago, after hearing about a parent who received prayer from our team, couple mothers came to the church this morning seeking prayer for themselves. 

The sisters of Saenuri shared the Gospel with them, listened to their life stories, and lifted them up in prayer.

잠시 후 복음이 선포될 이 예배당에서 마지막 날 VBS 많은 아이들 마음속에 복음의 씨앗이 심어지게 해달리고 시작기도를 했습니다.

Shortly before the Gospel was proclaimed in this chapel, we gathered to offer an opening prayer, 

asking that the seeds of the Gospel would be deeply planted in the hearts of the many children attending on this final day of VBS.

하루종일 한끼도 먹지 못한 아이들이 힘차게 하나님을 찬양하고 뛰어 놀수 있도록 간식을 먼저 먹고 VBS를 시작합니다.

To ensure that the children, who hadn't eaten a single meal all day, could praise God with all their might and run around with energy, we handed out snacks first before starting VBS.

짜잔! 새로운 신발 정리 시스템이 생겼습니다! 

오늘은 큰 아이들을 우선적으로 참여하게 했더니 다르긴 다르네요~ 이를 본 작은 아이들도 따라 하기 시작했습니다.

Ta-da! We have a brand new shoe organization system!Today, we had the older children participate first, and it really made a difference. 

Seeing them set the example, the younger children started following along and organizing their shoes too.

반대로.. 저희 말라위 팀원들의 신발보관법이 퇴화되었습니다, 이만큼 저희는 말라위에 금새 적응했습니다 >0<

On the flip side, our Malawi team members' own shoe storage habits seem to have devolved, showing just how quickly we have adapted to life here in Malawi! >0<

VBS마지막 날인만큼 아쉬운 마음을 담아 아이들을 한명한명 꼭 껴안아주며 환영해 주었습니다.

Since it was the final day of VBS, we welcomed the children by holding each and every one of them in a tight embrace, pouring all our bittersweet feelings into those hugs.

문목사님도 더욱 힘차게 시작기도를 하십니다.

Pastor Moon also led the opening prayer with even greater strength.

신나는 찬양과 율동 시간입니다. 3일 차가 되어 찬양이 익숙해진 아이들의 목소리가 예배당을 더 크게 울립니다.

It is time for exciting praise. Now that it is Day 3, the children are familiar with the songs, and their voices ring out even louder across the chapel.

저희들의 능력이아닌 성령님의 임재하심으로 아이들에게 복음이 흘러가길 바라며 마지막 스킷인 How He Loves Us를 기도로 준비합니다.

We prepare for our final skit, "How He Loves Us," with prayer, hoping that the Gospel will reach the children not through our own strength, but through the presence of the Holy Spirit.

목사님께서 복음을 선포하는 말씀을 해주셨습니다.

Pastor Moon delivered a message proclaiming the Gospel.

예수 그리스도를 영접하기를 원하는 아이들이 손을 듭니다. 가슴에 손을 얹고 손을 드는 모습이 마음을 울립니다. 

The children who want to accept Jesus Christ raise their hands. Seeing them place one hand over their hearts while raising the other is deeply moving.

Craft 팀도 복음팔찌로 다시한번 복음을 전하기 전에 기도로 준비합니다.

The craft team also prepares with prayer before sharing the Gospel once again through the Gospel bracelets.

매듭 매는 것을 어려워 하는 어린 친구를 도와줍니다. 마음이 참 예쁜 말라위 아이들 입니다.

We help the younger children who struggle with tying the knots. The hearts of these Malawian children are truly beautiful.

복음팔찌를 만들기 시작합니다. 구슬 한알 한알 끈에 넣을 때마다 그 의미를 설명해 주었습니다.

The children begin making their Gospel bracelets. As each bead was placed onto the string, we explained the meaning behind it.

복음팔찌 완성! 매일매일 팔찌를 볼 때 마다 그 의미를 잊지 않고 살아가기를 기도해주세요. 

The Gospel bracelets are now complete! Please pray that every time the children look at their bracelets each day, they will remember its meaning and live by it.

여리고성 무너뜨리기 게임을 진행했습니다. 아이들은 죄를 멀리하게 해달라는 마음을 담아 공을 던지며 "파라츠"를 외쳤습니다.

We played a game to tear down the walls of Jericho. The children threw balls and shouted "Pharats," praying that they would stay away from sin.

제작년에 반응이 뜨거웠던 카쥬를 다시 선물하였습니다. 올해도 역시 반응이 뜨거웠습니다.

We once again gifted the children kazoos, which had been a great hit two years ago. This year, they were just as popular.

Your way is better 곡에 맞춰 바디워십으로, 세상을 따르는 것보다 하나님의 길을 따르는게 유익하다는 메세지를 전해주었습니다. 

Through a body worship performance to the song "Your Way is Better," we delivered a message that following God's path is far better than following the ways of the world.

드디어 작별 인사를 나누는 시간이 왔습니다. 아이들을 품에 꼭 안아주며 하나님의 사랑을 전했고, 아쉬운 마음을 달래며 다 함께 마지막 사진을 남겼습니다.

Finally, the time came to say our goodbyes. We held the children close to share God's love with them, and we took a final photo together to comfort our bittersweet hearts.

집으로 돌아가는 길에는 아이들의 학업에 도움이 될 만한 구디백을 선물로 챙겨주었습니다.

As the children headed home, we gave them goody bags filled with supplies to help them with their studies.

저녁 예배 후에는 팀원들이 한 명씩 돌아가며 이번 VBS를 통해 주신 마음을 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다. 나눔을 통해 사역 현장에서 천국을 경험한 기쁨을 고백하기도 하고, 하나님의 뜻을 구하지 않고 자신의 의지대로 살아가려 했던 모습을 회개하기도 했습니다.

After the evening service, the team members took turns sharing how God moved their hearts through this VBS. During this time, some confessed the joy of experiencing heaven on the mission field, while others repented for trying to live by their own will instead of seeking God's guidance.

Sister Myunghee is the highlight of today's entry! Her warm, loving eyes as she looks at the children are truly beautiful!


오늘 복음을 들은 아이들이 이 순간을 평생 잊지 않기를, 그리고 들은 복음이 마음속 깊이 뿌리내려 자라나기를 기도해 주세요. 내일은 노방전도와 함께 현지어른들을 모시고 내적 치유 세미나를 진행합니다. 

이 시간을 통해 상처받고 낙심한 이들의 마음에 새로운 소망이 피어나도록 기도 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다. 내일 만나요!

Please pray that the children who heard the Gospel today will never forget this moment, and that the seeds of faith will take deep root and grow within them. Tomorrow, we will go out for street evangelism and host an inner healing seminar for the local adults. Please pray that this time brings hope to the hearts of those who are hurting and discouraged.
