Masana abwino! Yesu amakukondani! (Good afternoon! Jesus loves you!)

오늘 드디어 처음으로 노방전도를 위해 센터밖으로 나가게 되어, 우리가 아프리카에 있다는 것을 느끼게 되는 풍경들을 보았습니다. 

성도님들도 늘 센터 사진만 보신것 같아서.. 이곳 릴롱웨의 모습을 쉐어해드립니다.

Today, we finally stepped outside the center for our very first street evangelism, catching glimpses of the landscape that truly made us realize we are here in Africa.Since I know our church members back home have mostly seen photos of the center, I wanted to share these scenes of Lilongwe with you.

자전거를 타고 굿뉴스를 전하러 가는 말라위 선교팀!

이 곳 말라위에서는 자전거 택시를 애용합니다.

The Malawi mission team is riding bicycles to spread the Good News! 

Here in Malawi, bicycle taxis are a easy way to get around.

허선교사님께서 노방전도 전에 기도해 주셨습니다.

Before heading out for street evangelism, Missionary Huh led us in prayer.

시/선/집/중! 찬양과 스킷으로 사람들을 모아 봅니다. 

All eyes on us! We try to bring people together with praise and a skit.

어린 동생을 품에 안고서라도 참석하려는 그 간절함을 보시고, 하나님께서는 이 아이에게 복음의 문을 열어주셨습니다.

우리 역시 늘 영적으로 깨어 있어, 은혜의 자리를 사모하며 결코 놓치지 않는 삶을 살아가기를 간절히 기도합니다.

Seeing the deep longing of this child who came holding their little sibling tightly in their arms, God opened the door of the Gospel for them.We earnestly pray that we, too, will always stay spiritually awake, deeply longing for the places of grace, and never letting go of them in our lives.

Jesus Skit 을 마을 사람들에게 보여드렸습니다.

We shared the Jesus Skit with the people of the village.

스킷을 보시는 분들에게 복음이 들어가게 해달라고 자매님들이 뒤에서서 기도하셨습니다.

Our sisters stood in the back and prayed that the Gospel would enter the hearts of those watching the skit.

문목사님께서 다시한번 복음전파를 하십니다.

다섯그룹으로 나누어 본격적으로 마을을 방문하여 노방전도를 시작했습니다.

많은 분들이 주님을 영접하셨습니다! 할렐루야~

We split into five groups and began visiting the village in earnest for street evangelism.

Many people accepted Jesus as their Savior! Hallelujah!

노방전도 후에는 그룹을 나누어, 어제에 이어 벤치를 만들고 교회 외벽페인팅을 칠을 했습니다.

After the street evangelism, we split into groups to continue building benches and painting the church's exterior walls from yesterday.

뜨거운 햇살 아래에서도 대충하는 사람 없이 꼼꼼하게 보수페인팅을 했습니다.

Even under the scorching sun, no one cut corners, and everyone painted carefully.

예전엔 없던 풀이 생겼습니다!

We painted grass where there was none before.

그리고 꽃도 생겼습니다!

And now, there are flowers here as well!

벤치도 한개, 두개 작업속도가 빨라졌습니다.

Our pace picked up as we finished building the benches, one after another.

선교사님께서는 특별히 이번 선교팀에 내적 치유 예배를 요청하셨습니다. 이에 따라 진행된 예배에서는 Airwing 성도님들과 주변 마을 사람들을 모시고, 

고난 속에서도 하나님 안에서 마음의 상처를 어떻게 극복하고 믿음을 지켜내었는지 선교팀의 간증을 나누며 위로와 격려를 전하는 귀한 시간을 가졌습니다.

The missionary made a special request for our team to lead an inner healing service. For this worship gathering, 

we invited the Airwing congregants along with residents from the surrounding villages. 

We had a deeply moving time offering comfort and encouragement as our team members shared personal testimonies about overcoming hardships, 

healing heartaches in God, and holding fast to our faith.

특송도 준비했습니다. 치체와로 준비했습니다!!

We prepared a special song in Chichewa!!

허 선교사님의 인도로 온 회중이 함께 예수 그리스도를 구주로 영접하는 기도를 드렸습니다.

Led by Missionary Huh, the entire congregation prayed together to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.

주먹을 불끈 쥔 채 하나님을 구세주로 영접하는 형제님의 결단력 있는 모습은 지켜보는 우리의 마음을 뜨겁게 만들었습니다.

Watching a brother tightly clench his fist as he made the firm decision to receive God as his Savior deeply moved our hearts and filled us with warmth.

이어서 결단하고 주님을 맞이한 분들을 위해 선교 팀원들이 함께 손을 얹고 간절히 축복하며 기도해 드렸습니다.

Following that, our mission team members laid hands on those who made the commitment to receive the Lord, praying for them with earnest blessings.

예배당을 나오는 저를 붙잡은 한 자매님은 4년 전부터 눈이 아프기 시작해 점차 시력을 잃어가고 있다며 눈물로 기도를 부탁하셨습니다. 

고통 속에 있는 자매님을 잡고, 치유의 하나님을 바라보며 함께 부르짖어 기도할 수 있어 가슴 깊이 감사했습니다.

As I was leaving the chapel, a sister caught my attention and asked for prayer, explaining that her eyes began to hurt four years ago and she has been gradually losing her sight. Holding this sister in her difficult situation, I felt deeply grateful to look to the God of healing and cry out in prayer together with her.

돌아가시는길에 전기가 없는 마을분들께 태양열 전구를 드렸습니다.

On their way back, we provided solar light bulbs to the people from villages that do not have electricity.

떠날 시간이 가까워 올수록 마음이 조급해집니다. 해는 이미 저물었지만 저녁 어스름 속에서도 벤치를 만드는 손길은 분주히 움직였습니다.

As the time to leave drew closer, our hearts grew anxious. 

The sun had already set, but our hands kept moving busily to build benches even in the evening twilight.

예배당 안쪽의 페인트 칠도 보수해야 했습니다. 당장 내일이 주일예배라 오늘 밤 안에는 반드시 모든 작업을 끝내야 하는 상황이었습니다. 

성도님들이 깨끗한 환경에서 예배드릴 모습을 기대하며, 피곤함도 잊은 채 밤샘 작업을 이어갔습니다.

We also had to repair the paint inside the chapel. Since the Sunday service was the very next day, we were in a situation where everything had to be finished tonight. 

오늘의 엔딩 사진은 릴롱웨 어딘가입니다... 우리도 우리가 어딨는지 몰라요...ㅠㅠ

Today's ending photo is somewhere in Lilongwe... We don't even know where we are either... T_T

내일은 현지성도들과 함께 주일예배를 드리고, 오후에는 동네 분들께 옥수수를 나누며 복음을 전할 예정입니다.

우리가 만날 영혼들의 마음을 미리 준비시켜 주시고, 서툰 우리의 발걸음을 통해 오직 주님의 복음만이 그들의 심령에 선명히 새겨지게 기도해 주세요.

Tomorrow, we are scheduled to join the local congregants for Sunday worship, followed by an afternoon of distributing maize to the local people and sharing the Gospel.

Please pray that God goes before us to ready the hearts of the people we will encounter, so that despite our imperfect steps, nothing but His Gospel will be deeply imprinted on their hearts.
