Sob as orações de todos os irmãos e pela graça de Deus, nossa equipe partiu de São Francisco e, após uma conexão de 11 horas no Panamá e mais 3 horas de voo, chegou em segurança a Manaus.!

안녕하세요, 사랑하는 새누리 가족 여러분! 

성도님들의 기도와 하나님의 은혜 가운데, 저희 팀이 샌프란시스코를 출발해 파나마 11시간 경유와 3시간의 비행을 거쳐 마나우스에 안전하게 도착했습니다!

현지에 왔다고 바아-로 포르투갈어로 인사드려서 놀라셨다구요?

Hello, beloved Saenuri family! 

By God's grace and through your prayers, our team departed from San Francisco and has safely arrived in Manaus after an 11-hour layover in Panama and an additional 3-hour flight. Did it surprise you to see us greeting you in Portuguese the moment we arrived? Yes... you guessed it, we borrowed the power of Gemini haha

Here are some photos from Day 1 of our journey to Brazil—every single moment was truly filled with joy, excitement, and overflowing gratitude!

은혜가 넘치는 소그룹 QT 타임 후 이미 완벽한데도 불구하고 가장 좋은것 드리기 원하는 귀한 마음으로 짬이 날때마다 연습을 더 쌓는 우리의 자랑스럽고 소중한 워십팀 멤버들. 저희가 보기에도 이렇게 예쁜데 하나님이 보시기에는 얼마나 귀하고 예쁠까요! 아 참고로, 얼굴에 춤이 없는 분도 전혀 상관 없습니다, 일단 단기선교 신청해보세요. 한달 반이면 칼군무 워십 댄스를 마스터하고 무려 엔딩요정이 되어있는 스스로를 발견하게 되실 겁니다.

After a grace-filled small group QT time, our proud and precious worship team members squeezed in extra practice whenever they had a spare moment. Even though they are already perfect, their hearts to offer God only the absolute best are just so beautiful. If they look this lovely to us, imagine how precious and beautiful they must be in God's eyes!

Oh, by the way, it doesn't matter at all if you have zero rhythm or two left feet—just sign up for the short-term mission trip! Give it a month and a half, and you will find yourself mastering razor-sharp, perfectly synchronized worship dances and becoming the ultimate 'Ending Fairy.'

Here are our Amazon Mission Team's worship dance members getting ready right in front of the gate with the 'Panama' sign at the Panama Airport! It was such a blessed and thankful time to be able to praise God in front of so many travelers with a perfectly synchronized worship dance, refined by their love and passion for Him.

바디 워십 이후에도 남은 5시간 가량의 경유 시간동안 각자 맡은 역할에 따라 계속해서 선교 사역 준비에 힘쓰고

Following the worship dance, our team didn't stop! We spent the remaining 5-hour layover diligently preparing for our mission work, with everyone focusing on their specific roles.

암송 말씀을 외우며 시간을 보내기도 합니다. 말씀 암송이 저는 참 어렵더라고요.. 항상 틀리는 곳에서 똑같이 틀리는 매직. 마치 누군가 덫을 둔 것 마냥.. 저만 그런가요?

We also pass the time by memorizing scripture. I've got to admit, memorizing Bible verses is really tough for me... It's almost magical how I always get stuck on the exact same word. It feels like someone laid a trap for me... Am I the only one who does this?

비행기에서 못 다 잔 잠을 캐치업 하기도 하고 ㅎㅎ

Some of us are also catching up on the sleep we missed on the plane, haha.

그리고 성경 암송 시간을 유일하게 가장 여유롭게 즐기시는 모습이 아주 매우 인상적인 우리의 두(식) 목(사님).

뒷 짐 지고 돌아다니시며 누가 누가 틀리나 엄격하고 근엄하고 진지하게 검사하시는 황목사님. 말씀 앞에서 타협이란 없습니다!

목사님의 단호함, 사진을 통해 전달이 되나요?

그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다 (고린도후서 5장 17절)

너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라 (로마서 12장 2절)

아마존pd도 무사히 암송을 마쳤습니다! (이건 복사 붙여넣기 한 거 아닙니다! 믿어주세요)

말씀 암송 시간을 통해 그저 글자를 외우는 것이 아닌, 묵상을 통해 하나님의 살아계신 말씀을 마음에 새기는 귀한 시간이었습니다 :)

유쾌하고 은혜로웠던 살얼음판 같았던 암송 시간이 지나고 저희는 이제 마나우스로 향하는 비행기에 몸을 싣습니다.

And our Pastor Doo-shik (our "Boss"), looking very impressive as the only one completely relaxed and enjoying scripture memorization time.

There is no compromise before the Word! Can you feel the strictness of the pastors through the photo?

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17) 

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

PD maybe john also successfully finished memorizing! (I did not copy and paste this! Please believe me lol) Through this scripture memorization time, it wasn’t just about memorizing words, but a precious time of engraving God's living Word into our hearts through meditation :)

After that joyful, grace-filled, yet walking-on-thin-ice-like memorization time, we finally boarded our flight to Manaus.

샌프란시스코를 떠난지 약 23시간만에 드디어 마나우스 땅을 밟았습니다! 야호! 할렐루야!

After about 23 hours since leaving San Francisco, we finally set foot on the land of Manaus! Yay! Hallelujah!

Our Boss, sacrificing his own image to bring laughter and joy to all the team members so we wouldn't feel exhausted from the long trip... He's the absolute best! (I really mean it) For the record, the pose he's doing right now is actually a part of our worship dance choreography...

파나마에서 마나우스로 오는 비행기에는 새누리 단기선교팀을 포함해 무려 3팀의 각기 다른 선교팀들이 우연히 함께 탑승하게 되었는데요,

하나님께서 브라질땅에 있는 잃어버린 영혼들을 얼마나 사랑하시는지, 하나님의 사랑하시는 자녀들을 얼마나 기다리고 계시는지 다시 한번 깨닫게 되는 시간이었습니다.

On the flight from Panama to Manaus, there were remarkably THREE different mission teams (including our Saenuri short-term team) boarding together by chance. It was a time to realize once again just how much God loves the lost souls in the land of Brazil, and how eagerly He is waiting for His beloved children.

모든 팀원이 하기 후 안전하게 이곳까지 인도해주신 하나님께 감사의 기도를 드렸습니다.

이동하는 이 시간 가운데에도 머리털 끝 하나 상하지 않고 안전하게 인도해주시며 우리 가운데에 평안함과 기쁨을 주신 하나님의 은혜에 감사드립니다!

After everyone safely deplaned, we offered a prayer of thanksgiving to God for guiding us here. We are so thankful for God's grace, protecting us without a single hair on our heads being harmed during this travel time, and granting us peace and joy!

There are a few killing points (hilarious highlights) in this photo: Brother Yongcheon, who is tall but sitting in a spot with a low ceiling, looking uncomfortable but just accepting his fate. Our team's "Girl Group" sisters, doing it all—being cute, pretty, and cool. And Brother Junwon... Are you completely exhausted?

멀리서 봐도, 앞구르기 하면서 봐도, 어떻게 봐도 알 것 같은 이 발의 주인.

The owner of these feet... you could tell who it is from afar, even while doing a forward roll, no matter how you look at it.

공항에서 30분 가량 달려 동산교회에 드디어 도착해 짐을 내렸습니다!

After driving for about 30 minutes from the airport, we finally arrived at Dongsan Church and unloaded our luggage!

다른건 다 잃어버려도 절대 잃어버리면 안되는 짐.

바로 바로 이 짐가방입니다. 왜냐하면 여기에 모기를 방어할 모든 방패가 다 들어있거든요.

The one piece of luggage we absolutely cannot lose, even if we lose everything else. 

It's this exact bag right here. Because it holds every shield we have to defend ourselves against the mosquitoes.

오는 밴 안에서 방지턱을 넘다가 선반에 광대를 부딪혔지만, 그래서 멍이 들었지만, 웃음과 감사를 잃지 않는 수민자매.. 사랑하고 축복합니다!

Sister Jasmin, who hit her cheekbone on the luggage shelf while going over a speed bump in the van and got a bruise, but still never lost her smile and gratitude... We love and bless you!

도착 후 첫 동산교회에서의 첫 예배.

안전하게 브라질 땅을 밟을 수 있도록 우리의 여정을 인도해주신 하나님의 은혜를 기억하며, 또한 우리 삶 속에 그 어떤것도 당연한것이 없이 모든것이 하나님의 은혜였음을 함께 고백하며 감사 예배를 드리는 시간을 가졌습니다. 또한 브라질에서의 첫 날을 본격적으로 맞이하며 앞으로 선교 일정가운데에 함께하시며 하나님께서 예비하신 기적과 역사를 이루실 것을 기대함으로 나아갑니다!

We had a time of thanksgiving worship, remembering God's grace that guided our journey so we could safely step onto Brazilian soil. 

We confessed together that nothing in our lives is taken for granted, and everything is purely by God's grace. 

Also, as we officially kick off our first day in Brazil, we step forward with the expectation that God will be with us throughout the mission schedule, bringing about the miracles and works He has already prepared!
