데이빗 전도사님의 말씀을 집중해서 듣고 있는 아이들.

“Jesus came to me, Jesus found me. All I need to do is say yes to Jesus..”

The children listened attentively to Pastor David’s message.

“Jesus came to me, Jesus found me. All I need to do is say yes to Jesus..”

“Jesus, I accept You. Jesus, I need You. Thank You for coming all the way from heaven to find me. I believe You are God. I believe You forgive our sin.”

데이빗 전도사님을 따라 고백하며 작은 손을 모아 기도하는 아이들. 우리 눈에도 이렇게 귀하고 예쁜데, 주님 눈에는 얼마나 더 사랑스러울까요?

“Jesus, I accept You. Jesus, I need You. Thank You for coming all the way from heaven to find me. I believe You are God. I believe You forgive our sin.”

Following the pastor David, the children prayed with their small hands clasped together. If they are this precious to us, how much more precious must they be to the Lord?

모든 VBS 일정이 끝난 후 축복 통로를 통해 아이들을 배웅합니다.

우리가 아이들에게 선물을 주는 것처럼 보이지만, 사실은 하나님께서 이 아이들을 우리에게 선물로 보내주셨음을 느낄 수 있었습니다.

데이빗 전도사님의 말씀처럼, 아이들과 하이파이브를 할 때 예수님과 하이파이브하는 것 같았습니다!

After all the activities, we sent the children off through a “blessing tunnel.”

It may have looked like we were giving gifts to the children, but we felt that God had sent them to us as gifts.

As Pastor David said, it felt like high-fiving Jesus as we high-fived the kids!

마태복음 25장 40절

임금이 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한것이니라 하시고

Matthew 25:40

And the King will say, ‘I will tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

밝게 웃으며 돌아가는 아이들의 마음속에 주님께서 귀한 씨앗을 심어주셨기를 기도합니다!

We pray that the Lord has planted a precious seed in the hearts of the children as they left with bright smiles!

의료팀과 전도팀은 광명교회 건물에서 사역이 시작되었습니다.

오전 내내 100명 가까운 환자분들이 찾아오셨습니다.

The medical and evangelism teams began their ministry at the Kwangmyung Church building.

Throughout the morning, nearly 100 patients came to receive care.

환자분들이 가장 많이 불편을 호소하는 부분은 눈이었는데,

뜨거운 자외선에 많이 노출되어 선글라스가 꼭 필요한 상황이었습니다.

새누리 성도님들이 기부해주신 선글라스와 돋보기 안경도 잘 나누어 드릴 수 있었습니다.

The most common issue patients complained about was their eyes.

Due to strong sun exposure, sunglasses were very much needed.

We were able to distribute the sunglasses and reading glasses donated by Saenuri members.

황현순 선교사님께 들은 이야기로는, 의료시설이 열악하고 병원비가 부담되어 병원을 잘 찾지 못한다고 합니다.

또 라이선스 없이 운영되는 병원도 많고, 대부분 약국에서 스스로 판단해 약을 사 먹는 경우가 많다고 합니다.

그로 인해 병이 더 악화되는 경우도 많고요.

According to Missionary Hwang, medical facilities are limited, and many people cannot afford hospital costs.

There are also many clinics operating without proper licenses, and people often self-diagnose and buy medicine from pharmacies.

As a result, their conditions often worsen.

이 모습이 마치 우리가 예수님 없이, 말씀 없이 우리의 죄를 직면하지 않고

내 방식대로 해결하려는 모습과 겹쳐 보였습니다.

This reminded us of how we sometimes try to deal with our own sin without Jesus or the Word, avoiding facing it directly.

우리가 이들의 건강을 위해 섬기는 것도 중요하지만,

우리의 속사람, 곧 구원을 위한 기도가 그 어떤 치료보다 더 중요함을 깨닫게 됩니다.

의료팀은 한 분 한 분 정성스럽게 진료하며, 복음이 전해질 수 있도록 기도와 사랑을 나눕니다.

While it is important to care for their physical health,

we are reminded that prayer for their inner being - for salvation - is even more important than any treatment.

The medical team treats each patient with care while also sharing prayer and love so that the gospel may be delivered.

그리고 대기 중인 모든 환자분들을 한 명도 빠짐없이 찾아가 복음을 전하는 전도팀!

Gospel App과 통역자분들의 도움을 통해 예수님을 전합니다.

Meanwhile, the evangelism team reaches out to every single person waiting, making sure no one is missed.

Through the ‘Gospel app’ and the help of translators, they share Jesus with each person.

전도팀 한 자매님의 나눔에 따르면,

하나님께서 마음을 준비시켜주셔서 전하는 말씀이 잘 전달되는 것을 경험했다고 합니다.

선교를 오기 전부터, 그리고 이곳에서 함께 드린 기도의 열매를 직접 보게 하심에 감사합니다.

One of the sisters from the evangelism team shared that

she experienced how God had prepared hearts so that the message was received well.

We are thankful to witness the fruit of the prayers we offered even before coming here, and now together on the field.

그리고 우리를 통해 일하시는 하나님을 계속해서 보게 하심에 감사합니다. 하나님 최고!

We are grateful to continually see God working through us. God is amazing!

오전 일정이 끝나고 보니 어느덧 10시 줌 기도 시간!

더운 날씨에 육체적으로 피곤할 수 있지만, 우리는 알고 있습니다. 이 순간에도 기도를 멈출 수 없다는 것을ㅎㅎ

After the morning schedule, it was already time for the 10 PM Zoom prayer meeting!

Though we may be physically tired from the heat, we know we cannot stop praying—even in moments like this haha.
