The final morning in Cambodia has arrived.
Scenes from this morning’s worship service and time of reflection.

At today’s morning service, the Word God gave us was Galatians 2:20.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
During the mission, we underwent much training to welcome the Holy Spirit within us.
We sought to crucify our ego, desires, pride, idolatry, and individualism—dying to ourselves so that only Christ would live in us.
To live this life more clearly, we stepped out of our comfort zones and spent time praying together as a team.
All of this was not to become better people, but because we love God, who loved us and gave Himself for us.
People always dream of a better life and a better worldBut when God is not in it, it leads to disaster.
After leaving our lodging, we went to the “Killing Fields.”
This place vividly shows what kind of disaster comes when people pursue a “better world” without God.
Pol Pot, the leader of the Khmer Rouge, dreamed of creating a utopia.
But God was not in that vision.
When he was given power and the means to act, what he created was not heaven, but hell.

Millions of innocent people were sacrificed, leaving a deep wound on the nation.
The Killing Fields, with its trees and calm waters, appeared peaceful and beautiful at first glance, yet it felt as though cries of anguish still echoed within.
The pain of the Cambodian people deeply touched our hearts—and it did not lead to mere sympathy, but stirred in us a stronger desire to share the gospel.
True hope is found only in Jesus…

God poured this heart out upon our mission team like rain.
Before heading to the airport, we went to a large shopping mall in Phnom Penh to cool off.
Even though it was meant to be a time of rest, every team member began sharing the gospel throughout the mall.
Compared to the rural Kandal region, more people in this city rejected the gospel, yet we did not become discouraged.
If there was an opportunity—or even if there wasn’t—we made one to share the gospel.
It felt as though we were seeing with our own eyes God’s heart and His promises for this land.

At last, it was time to leave Cambodia.
After gathering at the airport and checking in, we shared what we had received through this mission in our groups.

One sister shared that it felt like we trained in the village and then took a mock exam before stepping into the real field at the mall.
Will we be able to share the gospel anywhere, even back in Silicon Valley? Alone it may be difficult, but together we can.
We promised to go out and share the gospel together.
It seems like our Cambodia mission team will join the “Good News” team (though not officially agreed upon)
