안녕하세요. 주일이었던 오늘은 하루 종일 예배에 푹 잠기는 은혜를 누렸습니다.
동경 시부야복음교회 성도님들과 함께 오전 10시 30분 일본어 예배, 오후 1시 한국어 예배, 그리고 오후 5시 Praise Night 예배까지 하루 세 번의 예배를 드렸습니다.
Hello! Today, being the Lord’s Day, we were blessed to spend the entire day immersed in worship. Together with the members of Shibuya Gospel Church in Tokyo, we attended three worship services: the Japanese service at 10:30 a.m., the Korean service at 1:00 p.m., and the Praise Night service at 5:00 p.m.
특별히 오전 일본어 예배에서는 일본인 성도님들과 같은 공간에서 같은 하나님을 예배하며 함께 찬양한다는 사실만으로도 마음이 벅차올랐습니다.
언어는 달라도 한 믿음 안에서 함께 예배드리는 모습에 괜스레 눈시울이 붉어지는 시간이었습니다.
The Japanese worship service in the morning was especially moving. Simply worshiping and praising the same God alongside our Japanese brothers and sisters filled my heart with emotion. Although we spoke different languages, being united in the same faith brought tears to my eyes.

오후에는 시부야 번화가로 나가 Praise Night에 사람들을 초청했습니다. 예상했던 것처럼 대부분은 정중히 거절했고, 눈에 보이는 열매는 없었습니다. 하지만 우리의 수고보다 하나님의 때와 방법이 더 중요하다는 것을 다시 한번 배우게 되었습니다. 하나님께서 가장 선한 때에 반드시 일하실 것을 믿으며 낙심하지 않으려 합니다.
동시에 VBS를 통해 아이들을 만나고 복음을 전할 수 있었던 시간이 얼마나 귀한 은혜였는지도 다시금 돌아보게 되었습니다.
In the afternoon, we went into the busy streets of Shibuya to invite people to Praise Night. As we had expected, many politely declined, and we did not see any immediate results. Yet this reminded us once again that God’s timing and His way are far more important than our visible achievements. We choose not to be discouraged, trusting that God will work in His perfect time. At the same time, it made us reflect on what a precious privilege it had been to meet the children through VBS and share the gospel with them.
오후 5시에는 새누리 단기선교팀이 준비한 Praise Night 예배를 드렸습니다. 하나님께 마음을 다해 찬양하고 예배드릴 수 있었다는 것만으로도 큰 감사와 감격이 넘치는 시간이었습니다.
At 5:00 p.m., we gathered for the Praise Night service prepared by the Saenuri short-term mission team. It was a truly joyful and humbling time as we poured out our hearts in worship and praise to God. We were filled with gratitude simply for the privilege of worshiping Him together.

Please continue to pray that the seeds of the gospel that have been sown in this land will bear beautiful fruit in God’s perfect timing.

할렐루야! 예배와 찬양의 시간이 그곳 성도님들에게 얼마나 큰 위로와 은혜의 시간이었을지요..
마른 땅과 같은 일본에서 외롭게 신앙생활하시는 그분들을 위해 기도합니다.
그리고 복음의 기쁨이 성도님들의 삶을 통해 그 땅에 흘러넘치길 기도합니다.
